Available starting in late March, 2010. To book a private lesson, call Froi at (646) 528-3683. His rates are $35/half-hour. Semi-private rates vary, depending on the number of people participating.

Adult Group Clinics
On weeknights and weekend afternoons, RCTA hires Froi to conduct tennis clinics for adults. Skill-level categories include Low and High Intermediate, Beginner, and New to Tennis (for those who have never played before). Clinics are one-hour long and are limited to 6 adults per session. The emphasis of these clinics is on hitting a lot of balls. Detailed instruction is offered upon request of participants. Participants must be RCTA members ($50.00 per year). Prices vary depending on length of session, but breakdown to $25 per hour. The 2010 registration will be available in February 1. For more information and schedules, see Adult Group Lessons.

Children's Group Lessons
Inexpensive group lessons are offered for the children (and grandchildren) of RCTA members. These lessons are designed for beginner and intermediate players between the ages of 3 and 13. These lessons are not for advanced players but are designed to create recreational players and to acquaint kids with the very basic elements of tennis; Emphasis is on fun and development of basic hand/eye coordination. The 2010 registration will be available in February 1. For more information and schedules, see Children's Group Lessons.

Summer Camp
RCTA has partnered with Gotham Tennis Academy, a leading operator of tennis programs in Manhattan, to offer a tennis camp this summer beginning June 15 at the 96th Street Red Clay Courts. Gotham Tennis AcademyThe camp, which in addition to tennis, will also feature field trips in Riverside Park and other fun, athletic activities, is a great way to keep your child active this summer and improve his or her tennis in a fun and supportive environment.
Whether your child is a Beginner or Advanced level player, he or she will gain confidence and learn appropriate stroke production fundamentals, strategy, match play, conditioning, and footwork during the camp. Taught by Gotham Tennis Academy's certified tennis instructors who excel at teaching junior players, the summer program is designed to take your child to the next level towards tennis proficiency.
Light snacks and beverages are provided, although we recommend that you send a bag lunch with your child.
The Summer Camp registration information and schedule are now available online. There are both half day (1-4 p.m.) and full-day (10 a.m.-4 p.m.) options on weekdays from June 14 to September 3, with discounts for multi-week bookings. Click here to register
